Staff within the Environmental Analysis and Research Unit of Environmental Information have developed a background document about State-wide native vegetation mapping, entitled Native Vegetation Information for NRM Planning (550Kb PDF). This document aims to inform staff involved in Natural Resources Management (NRM) of the native vegetation mapping datasets available within South Australia. It describes how the vegetation information is collected and mapped, how it can be accessed and how it can assist with NRM planning.
